Day 4, Tuesday, 25, December 2007

To be more effective, we decided to create an additional team with our group members. Team 1 and Team 2 split up and traveled to separate villages. Team 3 went to the Children’s Home. Even though Team 3 didn’t have the needed supplies for the children because of the missing luggage, they were able to create unique and fun activities to share with the kids. The team shared from the Word, and then spent time praying over the children. For Teams 1 and 2, the ride to the villages was over an hour by car and often through dirt roads. The teams were able to see the difficulty that the ministry staff in Lucknow had to go through on a daily basis to reach these remote areas. As we reached the villages, we were overwhelmed by the hospitality that was shown to us everywhere we went. We each received a flower garland at every village we went. We were able to lead the people in worship as well as share from the Word of God. One of the most powerful experiences of the trip was to see God using each one of us to speak with the anointing in front of these crowds. God gave us the right message to speak during that time. It was amazing to see that no matter how late we were in arriving to the villages, the people would be worshipping until we came, and even after we left.
